Red Cross assists after Wilmington apartment fire

Wilmington, DE – March 26, 2008 – A mother and her three month old child were left homeless after fire destroyed their Wilmington apartment. The American Red Cross of the Delmarva Peninsula met with the mother and provided temporary housing, food, clothing, seasonal garments, infant supplies and crib, storage containers, comfort kits, stuffed animal and recovery guide.

As mentioned at the press conference that launched the emergency campaign “What If…?” YOUR local Red Cross responds to disasters that affect local residents 24/7, 365 days a year.
