March 28, 2010 Wilmington, DE -Volunteers with the American Red Cross of the Delmarva Peninsula met with a family of four (two adults and two children) after their Willow Grove Road home was damaged by fire yesterday. The Red Cross is providing the family with groceries, clothing and a safe place to stay.

The Red Cross reminds residents of the Delmarva Peninsula to check and replace the batteries in their smoke detectors. A working and updated smoke alarm may save your life or the lives of your loved ones in the event of a fire.
