Red Cross assists Georgetown Residents after Two Fires

 

 

Wilmington, DE, April 2, 2012 The American Red Cross assisted two Georgetown, DE families after two separate fires.

 

The first fire occurred on March 29, 2012 on Shortly Road, affecting a family of five (two adults and three children).  Red Cross volunteers, Glenn Sholley and Pat Hartsuff, met with the family to assess and provide their immediate emergency needs.

 

The second fire occurred on April 1, 2012 on Grace Road and affected a family of two adults.  Red Cross volunteers, Glenn Sholley and Beth Lush, met with the family to assess and provide their immediate emergency needs.

 

Red Cross assistance is assessed for each disaster and may include temporary shelter, clothing, groceries, infant supplies, and comfort kits (various toiletries).
