Red Cross assisting Bear Residents after Early Morning Fire

 

 

Wilmington, DE, April 5, 2012 The American Red Cross was on the scene after a multi-family fire on Brandywine Drive in Bear, DE early this morning.  Red Cross staff and volunteers met with those affected by the fire to assess their immediate emergency needs.  As of 2 pm today, the Red Cross assisted 31 people (26 adults and 5 children) and provided their immediate needs for food and/or clothing.  All 31 people already have a safe place to stay.
