New Hires at American red Cross of the Delmarva
Peninsula
WILMINGTON, DE – April 27, 2006 – The
American Red Cross of the Delmarva Peninsula
announced three new hires. Al Mollica and Sohail
Malik will be based at the Northern Delmarva office
in Wilmington, while Robyn Cadwallader is based at
Seaford, serving the Southern Delmarva region of
Kent and Sussex counties in Delaware, and Caroline,
Dorchester and Talbot counties in Maryland.
Al Mollica, the new Chief Development Officer,
brings extensive fundraising knowledge and
experience from a long career covering both the
academic and non-profit world. Al holds an M.A. in
Education from Delaware State University and a B.A
in psychology from Shippensburg University. Born and
raised in Norristown, PA, he has lived in Brandywine
section of north Wilmington since 1990 with his Beth
Mineo Mollica, and three children, Lauren (23),
Julianna (14), and Nicholas (12).
Robyn Cadwallader is the new Administrator,
Emergency Services for the Southern Delmarva region.
Originally from Oregon, Robyn, who holds a Master’s
in Public Administration & International Public
Service & Development, has been a Red Cross disaster
volunteer for 14 years and has a wealth of
experience including a deployment overseas in the
Peace Corps and working with FEMA in Public Affairs.
Sohail Malik is the new Community Preparedness
Instructor (formerly Health and Safety). He is an
admitted sports addict who worked as the Membership
Director at the YMCA for 3 years, while teaching CPR
and First Aid. Sohail received the Army Achievement
and Commendation Medal after 8 years as a U.S. Army
reservist, working as a Medical Supply Specialist.
He holds a B.A. in Psychology from Wilmington
College and recently became engaged to be married. |
