June 7, 2010, Wilmington, DE- American Red Cross of the Delmarva Peninsula volunteers continue today assisting clients from yesterday’s large apartment fire in Dover, DE. Red Cross has given assistance to 24 families providing food, clothing, storage containers, recovery guides, stuffed animals for the children and safe places to stay. Casework will continue tomorrow at the apartment complex. Donated items are being collected by the City of Dover and can be dropped off at the YMCA on State Street in Dover. Financial contributions can be made to the American Red Cross, Local Disaster Relief Fund and mailed to 100 W.10th Street, Suite 501, Wilmington, DE 19801. Red Cross continues to monitor the situation.
