June 24, 2010, Wilmington, DE- Three volunteers with the American Red Cross of the Delmarva Peninsula responded to a house fire today on Darlington Road in New Castle, DE. The fire affected a family of two adults and three children. The Red Cross assisted by providing a safe place to stay, food, recovery guide, comfort kits and stuffed animals for the children. No pets were involved and no one was injured.
