August 10, 2010 Wilmington, DE- The American Red Cross of the Delmarva Peninsula will hold a volunteer orientation on Saturday, August 14, 2010 at their Elkton, MD office (207 Blue Ball Avenue) from 10:00 am to 11:00 am for anyone interested in helping military service members and their families. Services to the Armed Forces (SAF) volunteers assist in communicating emergency messages between service members and their families. Volunteers can accept and process these calls from their homes – no need to go to a Red Cross office to assist.
