Seaford, DE – September 11, 2007 – A family of 2 adults and 3 children was assisted by 3 Red Cross trained DAT volunteers after a fire destroyed their home Tuesday on Hampton Rd. in Dover, DE. The family was provided with temporary accommodation, food, and clothing.

The American Red Cross of the Delmarva Peninsula is recruiting volunteers and provides free training for those wishing to become disaster volunteers, who assist families devastated by fires, floods and other disasters.
