11 Family Members Assisted By Red Cross After Home Fire In Georgetown

Seaford, DE – September 25, 2007 – 9 adults and 2 children were assisted by American Red Cross of the Delmarva Peninsula volunteers after a fire destroyed their single family home Tuesday on Bedford Rd in Georgetown, DE. The family was provided with food, shelter, and clothing by trained Disaster Action Team volunteers.

The American Red Cross of the Delmarva Peninsula is recruiting volunteers and provides free training for those wishing to become disaster volunteers, who assist families devastated by fires, floods and other disasters. Get trained before a disaster strikes.
