“Paint
The Homegrown Café Red”
For The American Red Cross On September 29th
Wilmington, DE – September 26, 2007 – On
Saturday, September 29th, families can support the
work of their local Red Cross by dining at the
Homegrown Café in Newark, DE. The evening begins at
5pm and at 7pm five different bands will be playing.
“Paint the Homegrown Red - Dine Out for the American
Red Cross”, is a fun and easy way for local families
to be involved in supporting their Red Cross
Chapter. Homegrown Café will contribute part of
their proceeds from “Paint the Homegrown Café Red”
to the American Red Cross of the Delmarva Peninsula,
which provides 24-hour emergency assistance to local
families struck by disasters such as fires and
floods.
“What a delicious way to give!” said Margi
Prueitt, Chief Executive Officer for the American
Red Cross of the Delmarva Peninsula. “We are so
excited that a local restaurant has partnered with
Red Cross Volunteers, Delmarva Power, and the UD Red
Cross Club to make it possible for you to enjoy a
wonderful meal and listen to music at a great
restaurant, and help the Red Cross at the same
time!” |
